A new set of school buildings for Xinhe Primary School in Xintian Township, Huining County, Gansu. Yuming Bai was the architect in charge of the schematic design and design development phases at dot Architects; the construction drawing set was issued by the office in August 2015.

Site

Three single-storey teaching blocks, a staff dormitory and a toilet block are set in parallel rows, with a basketball court, a flag-raising platform and parking. Existing trees are kept and new trees are planted along the paths.

Buildings

Teaching blocks 1 and 2 each hold three standard classrooms in a 24.9 m long bar under a pitched roof.
